Prairie Craftsman Style Desk Lamp
The Prairie Craftsman Desk Lamp is a Limbert's Arts and Crafts design originally commissioned for St. Paul Lutheran Church in Green Bay Wisconsin in late 2007. It was designed to fit on a small alter, but also intended to fit on a desk. It stands 17 inches tall, and the shade is 12 inches deep by 18 1/2 inches wide. It is about 14 inches from the bottom of the mica shade to the desk top. The mica shade uses two regular Edison style bulbs for illumination with each bulb being 40 watts or less (the smaller appliance sized bulb is recommended). Lamp comes with real acorn or solid brass pull chains. The lamp uses highly figured quarter sawn white oak, and the lamp pictured is stained our Fumed Nut Brown color. Our staining processes is handed down by the Limbert Company, and much of the Arts & Crafts influence of this design comes from the Limbert School of Design.
