In 2001 I began using Limbert designs and morphing them into coffee tables. This was the beginning of the revival of the modern day Limbert Company in Michigan. By re-scaling old world designs into something that would work in today's home our tables ad simple quality and timeless craftsmanship. Our tables are all choice solid quarter sawn white oak, and the joinery used is mortise and tennon. The rectangular top is tongue and groove jointed has rounded corners over an arched apron. The lower shelf above the lower apron with rectangular cutouts, and the tapered legs give it the classic pagoda craftsman style. This is a wonderful collector's piece that would add significantly to any Arts and Crafts setting. The table stands 18" high, and 22" x 38" at the top. The top can be made in 3/4" or 1.25" thick quarter sawn oak.

The most romantic light is accent lighting in our world that means mica lamp shades. The gleam of candles through mica hurricanes, the glow of votives in stained glass scattered through the room across the dining table or along the mantel. Tappers aloft above a dining table, bathe the china & crystal in a soft glow, nothing is more atmospheric than mission oak light. Often all three types of light are used together a dark entrance hall glows with candles and barley a glimmer from a mission chandelier the hall gives way to the brighter sparkle from silk shades and crystal from the room beyond.
