This is the small size prairie craftsman style chandelier shade (which is 18" side to side).  The smaller size has a two bulb electrical cluster, and the larger size has a 4 bulb electrical cluster. Fixture includes quarter sawn oak chain, and ceiling canopy, woven cloth electrical cord, and quarter sawn oak shade.
 
Standard price is for the mica shade panels and stained glass is extra. The general accepted rule of hanging chandeliers above a diningroom table is 30 to 36 inches above the table top.
 
When placing the chandelier or pendant in a normal room it should hang no less than 7 feet above the floor.

The standard total length of the fixture (from top to bottom) is 28".

If you have a 9 foot high ceiling the total length of the fixture (from top to bottom) should be 40". If you have a 10 foot high ceiling the total length of the fixture (from top to bottom) should be 50".
